About the role

LYNEports is hiring a Founding Engineer to join our small but mighty team and help shape the future of aviation software. As one of our first technical hires, you'll work directly with the CEO and CTO, building core infrastructure, shaping product direction, and playing a pivotal role in helping us find product-market fit.

This isn’t just another dev job. You’ll write full-stack code, help define the product, talk to users, squash bugs, and scale systems fast. You’ll be part builder, part strategist, and full owner of what we ship and why it matters.

If you’re energized by ambiguity, obsessed with building meaningful tools, and ready to get your hands dirty solving hard technical and real-world infrastructure problems, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

What makes you a great fit

• You have strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, and are comfortable across the stack (React, Node.js, Three.js, Mapbox/leaflet a plus)

• You think like a product owner and not just a code writer

• You’re deeply action-oriented; you execute, ship, and iterate fast

• You’re not afraid to say “no” to distractions and focus on what moves the needle

• You thrive in ambiguity and have a strong bias for learning and doing

• You’re excited to talk to users, understand pain points, and build elegant solutions

• You work with urgency, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility

• You bring infectious ambition and are excited to evangelize the mission

• You know how to use AI products to speed up your workflow, work fast/not hard mentality.

• Bonus: experience in aviation, AEC, mapping tools, or data visualization

• You want to work with smart and friendly people with (self-reported) low ego
