What is LYNEports?LYNEports a brand new approach to aerodrome and airside planning and design software. A more detailed answer is: LYNEports is a web-based software that empowers users to efficiently plan, design, simulate and evaluate infrastructure for vertiports, heliports, airstrips, airports, and drone landings and operations worldwide. LYNEports has evolved into an all-in-one software tailored for both traditional and emerging aviation typologies including AAM (Advanced Air Mobility) and UAM (Urban Air Mobility). Whether you're working on eVTOL integration or airside layouts for full-scale airports, LYNEports enables you to navigate the complexity of spatial, regulatory, and operational planning with clarity. With its intuitive, no-CAD-needed interface and powerful geospatial and aeronautical analysis as well as intelligent insights, LYNEports facilitates the crucial early-stage phases of ground and airspace design, ensuring every project is grounded in feasibility, compliance, and future-readiness.
-
Why are more and more industry experts preferring LYNEports over traditional planning tools?Aviation planning is constantly evolving, and some experts are starting to rely on LYNEports to stay ahead. Unlike legacy software that can be complex and siloed, LYNEports is cloud-native, intuitive, and designed for multidisciplinary collaboration. It blends 3D mapping, airspace data, historical wind data, and 3D simulation, all in one visual interface with no CAD required. More than a one-time planning tool, LYNEports supports ongoing needs like master planning, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure upgrades. These processes are enabled through powerful features like the AI assistance and AI generated reports. Whether it's commercial airports, vertiports, drone corridors, or offshore and emergency hubs, LYNEports helps teams design, simulate, and future-proof aviation infrastructure.
-
What types of infrastructure can I plan with LYNEports?LYNEports supports planning and designing of a wide range of aerodrome typologies. From small urban air mobility pads to full-scale international terminals (including vertiports, heliports, droneports, and traditional airports and airstrips).
-
What kind of projects can I handle with LYNEports?LYNEports is perfect for planners, airport operators, architects, and consultants to explore new locations and evaluate existing ones. It enables planning, designing, and simulating site layouts, obstacles, and site constraints, along with flight operations to assess viability and design adaptability. Whether you're evaluating expansion feasibility, testing runway and taxiway scenarios, optimizing FATO placement, or improving overall airside flow and safety, LYNEports is a flexible companion for both early-stage design and retrofit analysis or planning.
-
What kind of users can benefit most from LYNEports? From airport planners and civil aviation authorities to architects, mobility consultants, aviation operators, and urban developers. LYNEports serves anyone working at the intersection of aviation, urbanism, mobility, and infrastructure planning.
-
Is LYNEports compliant with aviation regulations?LYNEports is built to guide users through aviation regulations by making compliance logic accessible throughout the design process. Using trained data and advanced AI, users can ask questions like: "What should the FATO size be for this aircraft?" or "Does this layout meet EASA/FAA guidelines?" and receive geometry-driven answers that align with global standards. While not a certified regulatory tool, LYNEports continuously updates its logic based on evolving frameworks (EASA, FAA, UK CAA, etc.) to help ensure safe, regulation-aware designs from day one.
-

My file is not downloading correctly. What should I do?If you're having trouble downloading your project file, here are a few things you can check: File Format & Size: Make sure you're downloading in a supported format (.FBX, .GLTF, or .GLB). These formats are currently available, and the feature is being actively improved during its beta phase. Beta Status: Since the download feature is still in development, occasional bugs or issues may arise. Geometry Downloads: The download will include all the geometry you've designed, but please note that some elements may not be fully optimized yet. If the issue persists or you'd like to share feedback with us, don’t hesitate to contact us at support@lyneports.com for further support.
-
My file upload is not showing on the map. How can I fix it?If the model you uploaded isn't appearing on the map, here are a few things you can check: File Format & Size: Ensure that your file is in a supported format (GLTF, GLB, or STL) and that it's no larger than 50MB. Scale and Position: Even if the model uploads successfully, it may not show up if the model is either too small or too large. To troubleshoot: Check if a new layer has been added on the "Parameters" bar on the right, inside the 3D model library. If so, the object is there. (Check the Image below) To locate your model, click the 'Move' button to adjust its position. You can zoom in using the mouse scroll wheel, the zoom in/out controls on the left tab, or scale the model as needed. (Check the Image below) If the issue persists or would like to share feedback with us, don't hesitate to contact us at support@lyneports.com for further support.
-
The AI assistant is not suggesting optimal sites. How can I fix this? The AI Site Recommendation tool is currently in Beta and still being trained on various global locations. If the suggestions seem inaccurate, it may be due to the location selected is not being part of the training dataset. Checklist: Make sure your input inquiries and criteria (e.g., aircraft, city, type of aerodrome, etc.) are well defined. You can reach out to our support team or submit your suggestion through the feedback form, indicating a location you're interested in, and we'll do our best to expedite the process on our end.
-
Why is my AI-generated site report taking longer than usual?Possible Causes: High traffic or server load at the time of request. Internet connection instability. The feature is still in Beta, so occasional delays or other troubles may occur. The length of the report being generated, typically 6 to 10 pages or longer, may also increase processing time. Solutions: Wait a few minutes and try again. Make sure to save your work, refresh your screen, and request the report again. Check your internet connection. If the issue continues after trying the steps above, or would like to share feedback with us, don't hesitate to contact us at support@lyneports.com for further support.
-
Why does LYNEports seem slower with larger aerodrome sites?Larger datasets (especially high-res terrain or multiple aircraft) can impact performance. Consider: Disabling non-essential data layers. Segmenting large projects into smaller zones. If the issue continues after trying the steps above or would like to share feedback with us, don't hesitate to contact us at support@lyneports.com. We’re here to assist you.
-
The noise profile visualization isn’t appearing. How can I fix it?Go to the "Simulate" button located on the project page at the bottom right corner on the "Parameters" bar to initiate the simulation process. (Check the Image below). On the left side, you will find the control toolbar. Click on the "Sim Control" to access the necessary settings. (Check the Image below). If the issue continues after trying the steps above or would like to share feedback with us, don't hesitate to contact support@lyneports.com. We’re here to assist you.
-
What browsers or systems work best with LYNEports?Best Performance: Google Chrome (latest version) Microsoft Edge Safari (updated version) Note: Avoid Internet Explorer or outdated Firefox versions. Be aware that external web plugins may interfere with the software experience. If the issue continues after trying the steps above, or would like to share feedback with us, don't hesitate to contact us at support@lyneports.com. We’re here to assist you.
