LYNEports is thrilled to announce the successful completion of our 8-day Vertiport Master Class, which brought together 15 participants from diverse fields, including aviation experts, urban planners, architects, engineers, and university students. The class was a comprehensive deep dive into the future of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), with a hands-on focus on vertiport design, regulatory compliance, and operations.

Throughout the course, participants gained practical experience in:

• Regulatory Compliance: Understanding the critical dimensions and airspace considerations that govern vertiport design.

• Infrastructure Planning: Using LYNEports software and Rhino 3D to design layouts prioritizing safety and passenger experience.

• Vertiport Operations & Terminal Design: Exploring the intricacies of daily operations and developing functional terminal spaces for eVTOL aircraft.

• Operational Best Practices: Learning strategies to optimize efficiency and ensure a seamless passenger experience.

At the end of the course, LYNEports held a competition to recognize the best work, and we’re excited to announce Janset Shawash as the winner! Her project, focused on designing vertiports for Helsinki, impressed both her peers and instructors with its innovation and strategic insight.
