LYNEports, a leading digital planning platform for vertiport and aviation infrastructure, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with AeroVecto, an Omani company developing hybrid electric VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft.
AeroVecto’s flagship vehicle, Shuttle, is designed to revolutionize public transportation across Oman and the broader GCC region. With a focus on passenger capacity and comfort, Shuttle aims to enable clean, efficient, and scalable aerial mobility between and within cities.
Through this partnership, LYNEports will support the design, simulation, and planning of AeroVecto’s vertiport network. Using LYNEports’ AI-powered tools, AeroVecto can assess optimal locations, simulate flight paths, and visualize integrated transport connections—ensuring each site meets safety, operational, and regulatory standards from day one.
This collaboration is a major leap for Oman’s AAM landscape. Local startups, in partnership with global leaders, are exploring uncrewed mobility services across cargo logistics, passenger transport, emergency response, and more.
“We’re excited to support AeroVecto in bringing their innovative vision to life,” said Rasha Alshami, CEO of LYNEports. “Their mission to tackle real-world mobility challenges perfectly aligns with our commitment to making advanced air mobility infrastructure accessible, safe, and future-ready.”
“At AeroVecto, our goal is to make high-capacity aerial commuting a reality for cities in the region,” added Fahad Al Riyami, CEO of AeroVecto. “Partnering with LYNEports allows us to advance vertiport planning and route optimization for the Shuttle network, unlocking efficient air transport for everyday use.”
This partnership underscores Oman’s emergence as a regional pioneer in advanced air mobility (AAM), aligning closely with Oman Vision 2040, which prioritizes sustainable urban development, economic diversification, and smart infrastructure. As the country aims to become a knowledge-based economy, integrating innovative mobility technologies is seen as a cornerstone of future urban planning and public services.
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MoTCIT) is actively developing a national AAM strategy that includes drones and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. These efforts are designed to ease urban congestion, connect underserved regions, and enhance resilience in critical sectors such as logistics, emergency response, and healthcare.
By combining LYNEports’ infrastructure planning technology with AeroVecto’s pioneering VTOL aircraft, this partnership directly supports the implementation of Oman’s long-term vision. It empowers local stakeholders with the tools and insights to deploy sustainable transport networks, build national expertise in aviation innovation, and position Oman as a hub for next-generation mobility in the Gulf.
