they are seeking a Project Architect – Aviation + Transportation to join our Los Angeles team. This role is ideal for architects who thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy leading multidisciplinary teams, and want to contribute to large-scale aviation and transportation projects.
What You’ll Do:
Lead architectural design and documentation for aviation and transportation projects from concept through construction administration.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Mentor and direct less experienced staff while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Review and integrate drawings, specifications, and project data into cohesive deliverables.
Support construction observation, permitting processes, and quality assurance initiatives.
Incorporate sustainable design solutions and HOK standards into project execution.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; NCARB registration preferred.
5+ years of professional architectural experience, with aviation or large-scale transportation project experience strongly preferred.
Licensed Architect in your region; LEED or Green Associate credentials a plus.
Proficiency in Revit, BIM coordination, and related design tools.
Strong technical, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Willingness to travel and participate in on-site project activities as needed.
