About the Role
Gresham Smith is seeking an experienced Architect to join its award-winning Aviation Market team in Denver. This role is ideal for a licensed architect passionate about designing airport environments that enhance passenger experience, improve operational efficiency, and create destinations in their own right. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team delivering impactful aviation projects across the U.S.
What You’ll Do
Work across all phases of aviation architectural projects, from concept through construction administration
Prepare schematics, design development packages, presentation drawings, and construction documents
Coordinate architectural drawings with consultants and internal teams
Research and select appropriate materials and systems for aviation facilities
Review construction submittals and support construction administration
Analyze client needs and develop creative, functional architectural solutions
What We’re Looking For
8+ years of experience in aviation or commercial architecture
Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent (Master’s degree accepted)
Licensed Architect with proven aviation design experience
Strong proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, and Photoshop
Ability to manage multiple project phases and collaborate effectively across teams
