About the Role


Gresham Smith is seeking an experienced Architect to join its award-winning Aviation Market team in Denver. This role is ideal for a licensed architect passionate about designing airport environments that enhance passenger experience, improve operational efficiency, and create destinations in their own right. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team delivering impactful aviation projects across the U.S.


What You’ll Do


  • Work across all phases of aviation architectural projects, from concept through construction administration

  • Prepare schematics, design development packages, presentation drawings, and construction documents

  • Coordinate architectural drawings with consultants and internal teams

  • Research and select appropriate materials and systems for aviation facilities

  • Review construction submittals and support construction administration

  • Analyze client needs and develop creative, functional architectural solutions


What We’re Looking For


  • 8+ years of experience in aviation or commercial architecture

  • Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent (Master’s degree accepted)

  • Licensed Architect with proven aviation design experience

  • Strong proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, and Photoshop

  • Ability to manage multiple project phases and collaborate effectively across teams
