Garver, an employee-owned engineering and design firm with more than 60 years of aviation experience serving 250+ airport clients, is seeking an Aviation Design Manager to join its growing Aviation team in Denver. Known for delivering integrated airport solutions across runways, terminals, electrical systems, and aviation infrastructure, Garver offers a collaborative environment focused on innovation, technical leadership, and forward-thinking design for modern air mobility and airport development.


This role is ideal for professionals passionate about conceptual aviation design, infrastructure planning, and translating complex technical ideas into impactful, accessible solutions that shape airport environments and transportation systems.


What You’ll Do:

Lead conceptual aviation design efforts for proposals and project pursuits across U.S. airport programs.


Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, and designers to develop innovative airport solutions.


Create and manage marketing and design-phase deliverables including technical reports, narratives, and documentation.


Support aviation projects covering terminals, airfield pavements, hangars, NAVAIDs, and airport planning initiatives.


Coordinate with technicians and technical writers to assemble design packages and conceptual presentations.


Participate in progress meetings, project coordination sessions, and industry conferences as needed.


Support project managers in defining technical approaches and ensuring deliverables meet project requirements.


What You Bring:


Experience working on aviation design projects for commercial or general aviation airports.


Strong conceptual design and technical communication skills within multidisciplinary infrastructure teams.


Ability to collaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers on complex airport systems.


Experience developing design documentation, technical reports, and proposal materials.


Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.


Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within large infrastructure project teams.
