Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking a Senior Aircraft Network Architect to lead the design, integration, and verification of advanced aircraft communication and onboard network systems for military and special-mission platforms.
What Youâll Do:
Lead architecture, design, and lifecycle planning for onboard aircraft networks (data, voice, video, mission systems).
Define network architectures, protocols, and topologies for fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft.
Ensure cyber security and compliance (DoD/industry standards).
Collaborate with avionics, flight controls, mission systems, and program management.
Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews.
Support proposals, technical briefs, and customer engagement.
What Youâll Bring:
Bachelorâs in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years in aircraft/aerospace network architecture or avionics.
Strong experience in IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, multicast, QoS, and timing/synchronization.
Experience with defense aviation projects, cyber security, and system integration.
Active or recently active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred:
Masterâs degree
Familiarity with SDN, TSN, ARINC 825, DDS, lab automation, and flight test support.
