Our Aviation team is seeking a Project Architect to join us in Washington, DC, working on airports, terminals, and large-scale transportation projects that elevate the passenger experience.
What You’ll Do:
Generate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of aviation projects.
Prepare and coordinate project deliverables, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Manage contract administration and coordinate with multiple consultants.
Lead project studio teams, provide mentorship, and leverage team strengths.
Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout project delivery.
Assist in the creation and management of project schedules and technical solutions.
Execute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documents.
Maintain awareness of codes, standards, and new methodologies in aviation architecture.
Present design solutions to clients and stakeholders confidently.
What You Bring:
Degree from a NAAB-accredited architecture program or equivalent.
8+ years of commercial design experience; aviation or large-scale transportation projects strongly preferred.
Revit proficiency and technical excellence; strong understanding of drawing set coordination and constructability.
Professional registration (NCARB) preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to translate design concepts into graphics, images, and detailed construction documents.
Flexible, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
Willingness to travel as needed.
