Corgan is seeking a driven and collaborative Architect to join our Aviation team in Los Angeles. You’ll work alongside a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional aviation projects while continuing to expand your technical and design expertise.
Responsibilities
• Support all phases of the design process across projects of varying size and complexity
• Develop thoughtful, functional, and creative design solutions• Communicate regularly with clients and project teams to maintain strong collaboration
• Produce high-quality graphics and presentation materials using industry-standard software
• Integrate design workflows with project tasks and cross-disciplinary processes
• Serve as a design advocate throughout project development• Coordinate construction documents and consultant information
• Apply understanding of construction methods, timelines, and detailing• Conduct field verification and site visits when required
• Stay up-to-date with codes, materials, methods, and industry innovation• Contribute major components to construction documentation sets
• Assist with contract administration and detailing solutions
Qualifications
• Degree from a NAAB-accredited architecture program (or equivalent)
• 4+ years of commercial design experience; aviation experience strongly preferred
• Strong conceptual design, space planning, and detailing abilities
• Proficiency in Revit; additional 3D software experience preferred• Interest in sustainable design and emerging technologies
• Professional licensure or active pursuit of licensure
• Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate within diverse teams• Experience preparing full design documentation, construction administration, and consultant coordination• Willingness to travel preferred
