About the Role:
Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Engineering Architect Level 2 (Avionic Systems) to design, integrate, and validate avionics architectures across multiple platforms (H125, H130, H135, H145, H160). You will ensure engineering documents are accurate and maintain high-quality standards in your work and the work of others.
Responsibilities:
Define and implement system/integration architectures per engineering and airworthiness requirements.
Design, integrate, and validate solutions using simulation, modeling, and predictive tools.
Develop, review, and approve technical documents, engineering drawings, and installation instructions.
Support certification activities and coordinate with FAA DERs and ODA Unit Members.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers and planning teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
7+ years of experience in aircraft systems design, development, integration, and certification.
Knowledge of avionic architectures, electrical systems, and system engineering standards (ARP 4754, DO-160).
Simulation and airworthiness experience.
US Person under ITAR regulations.
Willingness to travel (10%).
Physical Requirements: On-site 100%, able to operate equipment, read documents, and wear PPE as needed.
