General Manager, United Kingdom – Joby Aviation
Joby Aviation is hiring its founding General Manager for the United Kingdom to launch one of the world’s first commercial air taxi services. Reporting to the US-based President of Operations, you’ll own the UK P&L, build government and industry partnerships, and lead the local business across strategy, operations, marketing, and brand development.
This role combines high-level policy engagement, market development, and hands-on leadership. You’ll be Joby’s face in the UK, driving awareness, adoption, and execution while working closely with US headquarters. Expect to shape the long-term business foundation and oversee one of the first eVTOL networks in Europe.
Ideal for senior leaders with 8+ years cross-functional experience, proven success managing large teams, and an entrepreneurial track record of launching and scaling businesses. Aviation, aerospace, or regulatory exposure (CAA, EASA) is a strong plus. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
