General Manager, United Kingdom – Joby Aviation
Joby is looking for a founding GM in the UK to launch one of the world’s first commercial air taxi services. This on-site role in London reports to the US President of Operations and owns the UK P&L. The GM will lead market entry strategy, partnerships with government and industry, brand building, and cross-functional execution with Joby’s US team.
Key responsibilities include building the business foundation, securing strategic relationships, driving market awareness, ensuring safe and compliant service launch, and representing Joby publicly.
Requirements: 8+ years cross-functional leadership, 5+ years management, proven experience launching/scaling operations, strong UK/European network, data-driven decision-making, and excellent communication skills. Aviation industry experience, P&L ownership, and regulatory knowledge (CAA/EASA) are preferred.
