    We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Aeronautical Engineer Student Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of advanced air mobility and urban air transportation. The ideal candidate will work closely with our engineering team on projects related to vertiport planning, airspace integration, and flight path optimization.

    Your Role

    As an Aeronautical Engineer Student Intern at LYNEports, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced engineering team, including our Head of Engineering and Senior Aeronautical Engineers. You will collaborate on innovative projects involving the design and development of vertiport infrastructure, airspace integration, and flight path optimization. This hands-on experience will allow you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting, contributing to the advancement of urban air mobility. Your mentors will guide you through complex challenges, providing valuable insights and fostering your professional growth in the aviation industry.

    Your Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Proficiency in simulation and modeling software tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Knowledge of urban air mobility concepts and the aviation industry is a plus.

    • Passion for innovation and sustainable urban development.

    • Conduct research and analysis on aeronautical engineering topics relevant to urban air mobility.

    • Support the engineering team in flight path optimization and airspace management projects.

    • Utilize software tools for simulation and modeling of aircraft operations and infrastructure planning.

    • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate project findings and recommendations.

    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate aeronautical engineering solutions into urban planning projects.

    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions with innovative ideas.
